Lately my two oldest boys have been bugging my husband and I about having sleepovers at their friends' houses. They haven't even specified who, they just want to have the act of a sleepover because they've obviously heard their friends talk about it and think it's something super fun that they're missing out on.
Of course sleepovers are for most of the part fun and for many parents this isn't an issue at all, but us? We're not so sure. They're only 4 and 6 and I happen to have grown up in a house where I wasn't allowed to sleep over anywhere until I was 13.
So what to do? Read more about it as I mull over the issue and speak to an expert for Mamamia here.
Do you allow your young children to sleep over at other people's houses?
